A number of NHS staff in Lincolnshire were celebrated for their dedicated years or service - clocking up 1,400 years between them.

The 69 staff from Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS)were recognised for their efforts with a special awards celebration afternoon tea event held reently.

Those recognised in Louth included a number of 30 years service awards going to; Georgina Chandler - Community Nurse, County Hospital Louth; Helen Storey - Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Team Leader for North East Lincolnshire,Urgent Care Centre Louth; Maria Storti, Matron - Integrated Care, Louth Locality Office and Tracy Robinson - RGN, County Hospital Louth.

Marking 20 years of service included; Vivienne Benson -Ward Sister, County Hospital Louth; Carol Cartwright - Registered Nurse, County Hospital Louth; Ruth Drayton-Green-Community RGN, County Hospital Louth and Carole Larking - Health Visitor Assistant, County Hospital Louth.

LCHS chair Elaine Baylis said: “I would like to thank each of these individuals for the dedication they have shown to their professions. It’s always very heart-warming to hear about their experiences of working in the NHS, and particularly those who have spent their years with patients and families in Lincolnshire.”
