PEOPLE are in with a chance to win a Mini Coupé for the weekend if they try as many Olympic and Paralympic sports as possible in the run up to the Olympics.
To celebrate the Games, Lincolnshire Sports Partnership is offering the two-seater sports car as a prize for those taking part in its Quest for Gold campaign, which offers taster sessions for 34 different sports for a one-off payment of just £5 per person.
The sessions are available until the end of September – to tie in with the Paralympic Games – and people wanting to take part can register for the campaign online.
Once registered, participants attend the sessions and record their progress on the Quest for Gold website. The person with the most activities ticked off will win the car for the weekend.
If there are several people with the same number of activities, they will be entered into a prize draw.
The idea behind Quest for Gold is to encourage people to have a go at the different sporting opportunities on offer in the county.
The car has been donated for the weekend by Soper of Lincoln.
Activities range from archery, boxing and gymnastics to rowing, shooting and windsurfing. Although the campaign is available to those age 16 plus, parents with younger children are encouraged to speak to the session leaders as most will encourage children to attend also.
