THE CONOCO Rooms in Louth will be hosting a Lincolnshire Evening fundraiser for St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice in Grimsby.
The Lincolnshire Evening is part of the National Children’s Hospice Week and takes place on Tuesday, May 17.
The evening will consist of a buffet with traditional Lincolnshire food and entertainment by Brian Dawson, the renowned collector of county folklore and song.
Tickets are £10, which includes food and a welcome drink on arrival.
They are available from the St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice Shop, Queen Street, Louth or by calling 01472 350908.
St Andrew’s is the only children’s hospice in Lincolnshire and provides care for children and young adults with a life limiting illness from across the county.
All care is completely free of charge but keeping the hospice open currently costs around £1.3million per year.
Only three per cent of funding comes from the Government.
National Children’s Hospice Week is a nationwide event that aims to raise awareness of children’s hospices.
