Local councillors hand out community grants

ELDC councillors representing the Louth area have given out Councillor Community Grants (CCGs) for worthy causes, using part of the £2000 yearly allowance that is granted to them by the council.

Louth’s North Holme Ward Councillor Philip Sturman gave £700 to East Lindsey Domestic Abuse Service, to assist witht the cost of admission fees and transport.

Louth’s Priory Ward Councillor Sarah Dodds gave £250 to Louth Juniors FC to pay for goal nets and accessories. Coun Dodds also gave £250 to Home-Start East Lindsey, towards staff training.

Alford Councillor Jean Bradley gave £200 to Alford Silver Band to help improve the disabled access to the band rehearsal centre.
