Loughborough University student to climb Kilimanjaro for Practical Action

A LITTLE Carlton student is scaling Africa’s tallest mountain to raise money to help people across the world.

Olly Hennessy, an
18-year-old geography and sports management student at Loughborough University, Leicestershire, will be joining his peers to take up the
challenge in September.

Standing at 5,895 metres, Kilimanjaro is a structure made up of three dormant volcanoes and was first scaled in 1889.

Olly’s aim is to raise £2,500 for Practical Action, and is
appealing for benevolent
readers to sponsor him, whether it be £1 or £100.

“Any donation will be greatly received,” he said.
