After many successful years at Louth’s Town and Country Club Louth Beer Festival is moving to a new venue.

The 2014 Louth Beer Festival will be at the King’s Head in Mercer Row during from October 2 to 5.

The festival committee say they are sad to leave the function room upstairs at the Town and Country Club as the staff and members have made the them welcome for so long. Committee member Louise Niekirk said: “It can be a challenge for an established event to move venues, however we think that the King’s Head will encourage even more visitors this year. As the Beer Festival will be held downstairs it is easier access for everyone, as well as still being conveniently placed in the town centre. We thank the Town and Country Club for all their enthusiasm and support for so long.”

Louth Beer Festival committee are now busy planning the festival, which will have a range of real ales, ciders and perries on offer.
