Louth’s rising fencing star Amber Moss helps draw the winners in the Nottingham Building Societies summer raffle. Amber, 18, is pictured with Branch manager Alan Cope who said: “We are delighted to be helping Amber and following an initial £750 donation, the draw raised a further £111.”

Prizes were kindly donated by a number of local businesses.

Raffle winners will be notified directly by the building society in due course.

Amber has been selected to represent Great Britain’s Under 21s team in the Junior World Cup which will be held in Romania on September 26-27, where she hopes to put two years of injury frustration behind her.

She is also aiming to qualify for World Cup series events in France, Croatia and Slovakia after an injury forced her out of international action, and she also hopes that she will be able to make it on the Olympic stage one day.
