A staff member at The Beeches Care Home in Louth has celebrated a quarter of a century in her role.
Sarah Patchett has been a loyal staff member at the care home in South Street for the past 25 years, and has risen up the ranks to the role of a senior carer.
On Friday, December 14, Sarah, who lives nearby in Louth, will have racked up the impressive 25 year total after starting in the job way back in December 1987.
Manager of The Beeches care home, Jackie Prior, congratulated Sarah, of whom she said ‘nothing is too much trouble’ and praised her remarkable work ethic.
“Sarah is hard working, reliable and trustworthy, she is so dedicated to her role,” Jackie told the Leader.
“Nothing is ever too much trouble for her, she gets on with all the other staff members really well and all the residents too, she’s very popular here.
“She’s very happy in the job, it’s the only job she’s ever had and I hope we can keep her for another 25 years because she’s been fantastic!”
A whopping 25 years on and fellow staff members are planning a party for Sarah to celebrate her dedicated service at the care home.
To mark the occasion Sarah also received a special award from manager Jackie to commemorate the milestone.
