Two Days, One Night, a simple but absorbing story raising important issues about workers’ rights is to be shown at Louth Film Club (LFC) on Monday, September 7 from 7.30pm.

Directed by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, it stars Marion Cotillard as a young mother who, on returning from sick leave, discovers her fellow workers have opted for a significant pay bonus in exchange for her dismissal.

She has one weekend to persuade them to change their minds so she can keep her job.
