It was blooming marvellous at the 26th annual Louth & District Gardening Society Flower and Vegetable Show, despite a very cold spring and early summer.

Monks’ Dyke hall was filled with colour, with exhibitors and exhibits up on previous years.

Overall points this year finally went to John Jaques from Wrangle with John Chambers from Humberstone winning the Lincolnshire Potato Championship, NVS silver medal, best exhibit in the vegetables and best exhibit in show with his potatoes.
