LOUTH Garden Centre has launched an apprenticeship programme for people aged 16 and above.
The garden centre says the scheme is the first of its kind for the horticultural industry and is a ‘great opportunity for people to gain employment, particularly during the current economic climate’. Those who complete the programme will receive a Diploma in Horticulture.
Manager Jane Allen-Chilman said: “Apprentices learn on the job, building up knowledge and skills, gaining qualifications and earning money all at the same time.” The garden centre is looking for people with an interest in horticulture. To register email firstname.lastname@example.org
