Pregnant ladies in Louth are being invited to new sessions to help them prepare for their forthcoming arrivals.
The ParentLincs sessions will be run by community midwives on the first and third Saturday of each month from 1pm to 4pm.
They will give mums-to-be information and advice on labour, delivery and the first few hours with their newborn baby.
The sessions will be held at Louth County Hospital in the Lecture Hall, Thoresby Suit, with the first one on Saturday October 3.
Victoria Wilkins, community midwife at Grimsby hospital, said: “Many of our ladies in Louth were previously having to travel to Grimsby for bump to baby sessions so this new ParentLincs group will be more convenient for them.
“If you are in the later stages of your pregnancy, over 24 weeks, come along to the sessions so we can help you anticipate meeting your baby for the first time.”
To book onto the session contact the community midwifery team on (01472) 874111 extension 7878.
