A raffle at Indulgence of Louth raised £350 to help a brave little girl get vital treatment.
Rebecca Tilley ran the raffle to win a hamper full of gifts and Thorntons chocolates at her family business in Mercer Row to help her niece Hollie, who has developmental delay and needs ongoing therapy at the Brainwave Centre in Bridgewater.
It costs around £600 for her therapy each appointment at the centre.
Rebecca said: “Hollie is three-years-old and is still not able to walk and talk.
“Just to give an idea: £3,500 is the annual cost of supporting a child at Brainwave.
“The least I feel I can do is to raise money.”
Rebecca thanked everyone who supported the raffle.
The lucky winner was Jenny kirk who collected her prize from Denise Hutson at the shop.
The Brainwave programme is unique and offers a holistic approach with expertise in paediatric physiotherpay, occupational therapy, education and development, allowing them to deliver therapy for each child.
