PATIENTS at Louth Hospital will benefit from more than £1,600 raised at a summer fete.
During the fete in July parts of the hospital, including theatres and the urology department, were opened up, and there were stalls full of books, arts, crafts and plants.
Entertainment was provided by the Louth Riverhead Silver Band and Olympic Torch Bearer Michelle Brown was also among the guests.
The final fundraising total came to £1,632, which will be used towards items to benefit patient care at the hospital.
Services at the hospital are run by both Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Catherine Wylie, General Manager for the North East Business Unit at Lincolnshire Community Health Services, said: “It was great to see so many people coming up to the hospital to support us.”
