Louth International Women’s Association to host ‘Women in India’ talk


Louth IWA will meet on Friday December 6 for ‘The role of and attitudes towards women in India’, a talk by Harjinder Gurnham.

The IWA meets at members’ homes so addresses are not published, however anyone who would like to come as a guest can ring a committee member on 01507 490361.

The Louth IWA brings together women from various countries to share all that makes them unique: culture, literature, folklore, language and cuisine. Regular meetings are held at members’ homes in Louth and surrounding areas from 7.30 pm on the first Friday of the month. The IWA also has other social events throughout the year for family and friends, as well as a literature group and a debating group.
