Louth man arrested at Lincoln vs Grimsby football match

A 26-year-old Louth man was arrested for affray during the Lincoln City vs Grimsby Town football match yesterday evening (September 9), along with three other men from the Lincoln area.

A number of public order offences were committed in and around the ground which led to the four arrests. The men are being interviewed and dealt with by Lincolnshire Police today.

During the match, a 41-year-old steward was knocked to the ground after a chair was thrown, suffering a head injury. Anyone with any information regarding any of the incidents is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police via the 101 non-emergency number, quoting incident number 282 of September 9.
