A assault case at Lincoln Crown Court, which related to a Louth man, has been discontinued.

Darren Parrinder, 30, of Lime Grove, faced an assault charge earlier this year, but the case was discontinued on July 2 following a request from the prosecution.

The prosecution’s request for discontinuation was received by the court in June, and the trial had not yet begun when the decision was made to formally discontinue the case earlier this month.
