A Louth man, who allegedly inflicted grievous bodily harm upon a man in January last year, appeared at Lincoln Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Friday (February 13).
Craig Joseph Chappell, 28, of Keddington Road, Louth, will next appear at the court on Friday May 22 for a plea hearing. He has been granted unconditional bail until that date.
Chappell allegedly punched a man in North Holme Road, Louth, on January 16 last year, causing facial injuries and fracturing his eye socket.
Last month, Chappell pleaded not guilty at Skegness Magistrates’ Court and the court then directed that the case should be dealt with through a jury trial at Crown Court.
