Louth man sentenced after admitting public order offence

A Louth man has been given a conditional discharge after pleading guilty to a public order offence when he appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (March 10).

Martin Edward Fox, 40, of Longleat Drive, Louth, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby. The offence was committed on November 11 last year.

Fox was given an 18 month conditional discharge, fined £85, and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
