Louth Mummies takea leap of faith from moving plane for two deserving local charities

Two daredevil members of the Louth Mummies Facebook group are to jump out of a plane to raise money for good causes.

Liz Harmer and Emily Duce are to do their sky dive on Monday June 2 at Hibaldstow and are looking for as much sponsorship as possible.

Liz said: “I am jumping for local charity, Rej’s Dream. Emily is jumping for The Chris Jones Rider’s Fund which is close to her heart.

“We have four months to raise as much as we can, I am personally aiming for £1,000 to help Rej’s Dream.”

“The thought of doing it is terrifying but the charity has helped many local families, so we are looking for as much sponsorship as possible!” said Liz.

The Louth Mummies Facebook Group created by Liz in 2012 now has 732 members, many of whom regularly use the group to meet new mums.

Liz said: “So many new and brilliant friendships have been created through the group and we hope to continue that going forward.”

They have had many meet ups, kids parties, night out, meet ups in the parks and at Hubbard’s Hills.

Rej’s Dream was set up to help the working families of children with life threatening/life limiting illnesses who live in Lincolnshire.

It was set up in memory of Rhianna Elise Jeffrey who passed away in 2010, aged 13. To support Liz go to www.rejsdream.org

The Chris Jones Rider’s Fund was created in memory of Christopher Anthony Jones who was critically injured in a tragic motorbike accident in 2005 at Cadwell Park, aged 14. They are all about making riding as safe as possible. Visit www.cjnine.com
