Louth teen charged with stealing tools and alcohol


An 18-year-old Louth man has appeared in court to face charges of stealing almost £200 worth of tools from B&Q, along with alcohol from a local Co-op store.

Jordan Mawer, of Keddington Road, allegedly stole £195.98 worth of tools from the Louth branch of B&Q on January 20 this year. On the same day, he also allegedly stole whisky and vodka worth £35.99 from the Louth Co-op in Northgate.

Mawer appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (February 24) and the case was adjourned until the afternoon of March 31.

He was granted unconditional bail until his next court appearance.
