Four Louth teens were recently given their Young Leaders Awards after working on their skills as part of the Positive Futures initiative.
This scheme is provided by Children’s Services at Lincolnshire County Council for local young people aged 14-17.
The youngsters took part in the leadership course and learnt numerous leaderships, including communication skills, motivation techniques and attributes of good leadership.
They then put this knowledge into practice by leading sports sessions with their peers.
Positive futures worker Steve Rowe said: “The young people were a credit to themselves on the course - they showed a great willingness to learn and all showed fantastic potential to further their development.
“It was a pleasure to tutor them.”
Pictured with their awards and Steve Rowe are Liam Wilson, James Dowse, Nathan Marsh and Joe Melson. For more information on positive futures email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
