A Mablethorpe man has denied assaulting a woman but has pleaded guilty to damaging her bedroom door and being abusive towards her while he was on conditional bail.

Robert Grayson, 21, of Hammond Court in Mablethorpe, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court last week to face the three charges.

He is accused of assaulting the woman on May 22 after visiting her property in King’s Court, Mablethorpe. He pleaded not guilty to the assault in court on June 17, but pleaded guilty to damaging her bedroom door.

At his court appearance on June 17, Grayson was granted conditional bail whereby he was not allowed to contact the woman in question.

However, on June 23, he visited the woman’s house and was abusive towards her.

At his court appearance last week all three charges were adjourned he was re-admitted to bail, and is due to appear in court again on September 5.
