A North Somercotes man has been sent for a jury trial at Lincoln Crown Court, where he will face six charges of indecently assaulting a young girl in the 1990s.
Gavin Patrick Jackson, 34, of Conisholme Road in North Somercotes, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (January 29) and indicated a plea of ‘not guilty’ to all six charges.
All of the charges relate to alleged offences that took place in Lincoln between 1994 and 1997.
The alleged victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was under the age of 14 when the alleged offences took place.
The court directed that Jackson must face trial by jury, and he is now due to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on Thursday February 12.
Jackson was granted unconditional bail.
