Man faces magistrates over Louth attempted robberies

A man has been charged in connection with two attempted robberies in Louth on Monday afternoon.

Connor Thomas Scott, 19, of Keddington Road, Louth, has been charged with attempted robbery at a unit on the Station estate, Newbridge Hill and a second charge of attempted robbery at the Co-op store, Newbridge Hill.

He was further charged with possession of an offensive weapon, namely a machete.

He will appear before Skegness Magistrates this morning (Tuesday).
