Man in hospital after North Somercotes crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision that occurred at 8.25pm on Wednesday April 6 on the A1031 Conisholme Road at North Somercotes.

A 32-year-old man from Keadby, near Scunthorpe, who was riding a Suzuki Bandit motorcycle, was involved in a collision with a blue Vauxhall Corsa.

He received leg injuries and is currently in a serious but stable condition in hospital in Grimsby.

The driver of the car, a 28-year-old Conisholme man, was uninjured. The road remained closed until the early hours of Thursday.
