Man’s ear bitten in Louth attack

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault that took place in Louth during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Between 4am and 4.30am, an altercation took place in Queen Street. A 20-year-old man from Louth received a serious bite injury to his ear which may require reconstructive surgery.

The offender is described as a black male in his early 20s, approximately five ft seven inches tall and of skinny build. He was wearing a blue T-shirt with ‘Bench’ written across the front and may possibly be from the Grimsby area.
