A Louth man is setting up his dream sports coaching business - Coach the Wright way.

Dean Wright has got 23 years experience in the leisure industry, including 15 years of coaching under his belt and has level two coaching qualifications in both badminton and football.

He will also soon add level two in cricket to his list of coaching achievements thanks to a forthcoming course, made possible thanks to the support of Legbourne Cricket Club.

Dean also currently coaches football and badminton at the Meridian Leisure Centre in Louth and has had previous experience with primary PE teaching, with the responsibility to coach at 10 different primary schools in the Lincolnshire area.

But now Dean feels it’s time to branch out on his own.

“After previous years experience teaching within a number of different primary schools, I now feel the opportunities are available out there to go on my own,” Dean said.

“I’ve always had a real passion for coaching and getting out there with a business of my own, doing what I love has always been an ultimate goal of mine.”

Dean will be coaching children from the age of five, all the way up to adult level.

He will also be doing one to one tuition, sports themed birthday parties, group coaching and participation sessions and events and multi-sports holiday camps. And Dean doesn’t just coach the sports he loves, he also frequently plays football, golf, cricket and badminton, so he knows first hand what these sports are all about.
