The Revd Pam Fraser is to make her home at The Rectory in Donington on Bain in the New Year following her appointment as Rector for the combined Asterby group of parishes and the Hemingby group of parishes.
The induction service is to be held at All Saints Church in West Ashby on Thursday, January 15 when the Revd Fraser is to be welcomed by the Bishop of Lincoln.
She has recently been a minister in Australia and will fill the vacancy left when the Revd Ian Mc Grath retired and the Hemingby and Asterby parishes joined with the Horncastle Group to become the South Wold Partnership.
The Revd Pam Costin was appointed as the South Wolds Community Chaplin and had lived at the Rectory at Donington on Bain for four years before her recent retirement.
But the extended parish was considered to be too big and the Revd Frasers appointment will help make the arrangements more manageable.
