A new ‘One Stop’ convenience store for the local community officially opens today (Saturday August 15) at the former Brackenborough Road Post Office site in Louth.
The store has been refurbished and hopes to bring value, range and service to local customers.
It will be run by the well-known Southwood family which has traded on the site for over 30 years.
The store will offer fresh and chilled produce, a fully stocked off-licence with an range of chilled beers and wines, two meal deals offers, and the Post Office services will continue to be available in store.
Blair Southwood said: “We’re all very excited about opening the doors of our new store. We hope as many people as possible will come along to our opening”.
A grand opening weekend has been organised, with a range of activities planned for Saturday including a face painter in-store, bouncy castle and complimentary snacks and drinks.
The new store will be open seven days a week, from 5.30am until 10pm.
