Plans have gone in to have a new fast food takeaway next to the pharmacy that stands besides the Co-operative Food Store in Newmarket, Louth.
A planning application went into East Lindsey District Council in December and permission is being sought by applicant Mr Dhokia of Warwick Healthcare.
The proposal is to change the use and conversion of part of the existing retail unit which is owned by Pharmacy Wise to have alongside it a fast food takeaway alongside alterations to provide a new shop-front.
The plans indicate the possibility of a fish and chip shop due to several fryers being drawn in and a tall fish fridge.
The agents on the project are Nottingham based Franklin Ellis Architects.
The applicant is currently doing well with the success of the Pharmacy which opened before Christmas and want to bring in a further project for the benefit of residents in the town.
