THE NEXT drop-in session for groups interested in having a future at Louth Town Hall will take place on September 7 between 1pm and 4pm.
After having three groups already interested in becoming part of the Town Hall’s future, East Lindsey District Council are encouraging others to do the same.
Groups will have until September 30 to submit their initial expression of interest to the District Council.
The District Council has said it no longer has a need for Louth Town Hall and that with reducing budgets it can no longer afford the ongoing running costs associated with the building.
Information about Louth Town Hall, included details of its history, room sizes and timescales for any handover, are available at www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/louthtownhall.
Information packs are also available from the District Council’s Customer Service Centre in Louth Town Hall
If no Groups come forward, the Hall is likely to be sold on the open market.
