Nick Louth thrills WI ladies

NICK Louth gave a talk on My Life as a Foreign Correspondent at Legbourne & Little Cawthorpe.

He worked for Reuters for 12 years in the 1980s and 1990s in places such as Hong Kong, Amsterdam and New York but never in a war zone.

He now writes books and has written five so far. He read the first page of his latest thriller which left all the ladies ‘cliff hanging’. They were pleased to hear he was selling his books at a bargain price for them.

The competition was won by Janet West, second, Margaret Johnson, third, Jennifer Smith.

Flower of the Month was won by Hilary King, second, Val Gothard, third, Pat Wilson.
