A North Somercotes man has been sentenced and handed a restraining order after he pleading guilty to harassing a woman.
Oliver Morrell, 24, of Donna Nook Road, pleaded guilty to making a large number of calls and text messages to the woman between September and February.
He was given a 12 month restraining order which means he cannot contact the woman through any method, directly or indirectly, besides contacting her through solicitors for the purpose of arranging child contact. The restraining order will last until April 2016.
Morrell was also given a 12 month conditional discharge when he appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court yesterday (April 14).
He was ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £15.
