Nostalgia: Travelling back in time across the Lincolnshire Wolds

The walk covered seven and a half miles of guided time travel which looked back to those pre-glacial days when the sea lapped at the foot of the Wolds and woolly mammoths roamed free. Pictured are just some of the jolly walkers who were striding through the wolds at the time.

A walk led by Fiona Anderson of the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service and local historian Alec Charter was held in 1998.

It also received sponsorship from Heartbeat East Lindsey and the Countryside Commission.
