Two Louth women are part of a multi-talented trio who have set up a new online children’s clothing store - which became an instant hit and sold out within one hour of opening.
Seamstress Cheryl-Samantha Ellis and PR specialist Emma Murray, who were both born and raised in Louth, joined forces with creative marketing and graphics expert Stephanie North from Yorkshire.
Inspired by Emma’s five-month-old child Arthur, the trio launched their brand new company, ‘Oh Arthur’, at the end of September.
Oh Arthur offer unique designs of tees and leggings for children aged 0-5, and products are sold exclusively via the brand’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
After selling out of pre-orders within just one hour, Emma said: “Shocked is an understatement.”
“When Stephanie and I talked about the idea we knew there must be other parents like us seeking unique and unusual clothing for their little ones, but we didn’t think it would take off so quickly.
“We are overwhelmed by the support and success so far and we’re so grateful to everyone that has ordered.”
