Oscar-winning drama The Salesman is set to be shown on the big screen at The Playhouse Cinema in Louth on Monday, June 5.
Directed by Ashgar Farhadi, the film looks at a couple’s relationship that comes under pressure during their performance of a Persian translation of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman.
Paul Hill, chair of Louth Film Club comments on the film and said: “Farhadi lends both a strong feel for humanity and a sense of not knowing quite what happened or what will happen next.”
The film starts at 7.30pm at the cinema which is located in Cannon Street in the town.
Tickets are £4 for LFC members and standard cinema prices apply for non-members and concessions.
