Live music, a nightmare
circus, stalls, car boot and much much more bring a weekend of fun at Saltfleet Gala next month.

The fun starts on Saturday, August 8, at 6pm, with a Punch & Judy Show, followed by local singer Katie Barker.

Louth duo The Chain Gang will also be performing, as will Freestyle Entertainers with a nightmare-themed circus show.

The Rumble Band will round the evening off, playing until midnight. Doors open at 5pm and entry for the evening is £5 for adults and £1 for under 16s.

Sunday, August 9, starts with an all-day car boot sale from 9am, with the grand parade through the village at 10am.

The day’s entertainment on the Sports and Social field begins with the Gala Queen - Danielle Barker, and her princesses - Cerys Edwards and Tianna Willey, judging the fancy dress competition.

Then there is a fun-filled day for everyone, with craft stalls, inflatables, animals, displays, tug of war and more.

There will be live music and a classic vehicle display too, plus lots of food and a
licensed bar.

Sunday admission is free, with car parking £1.
