Repairs to parts of the A18 Barton Street carriageway will begin on Monday September 7.
The works will be between the junction of the A46 to Barnoldby le Beck turn, and the junction of the B1203 Ashby Hill to the North Thoresby turn.
The two-week project will involve carriageway repairs, road markings and road studs.
Barton Street has a 50mph speed limit and the road closures are needed to keep the workforce safe.
The work will be divided into four phases, under 24 hour road closures from Monday to Friday.
During each closure the road will be closed to all vehicles except those requiring access to local businesses and homes.
Any motorists who are required to drive through the roadworks are asked to drive slowly and carefully when in the closure area as contractors will be working on the road.
Advance warning and local diversions signs will be in place for the duration of the closure.
North East Lincolnshire Council and its partner Cofely apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused by these carriageway renewal works which are required to maintain and improve the area’s highway network.
