Binbrook & District WI members go green to #show the love

Members of Binbrook & District WI were among those to take part in Show The Love over the weekend.

They put displays of green hearts in all the Wolds villages where current members live - Brookenby, where the disused phone box was decorated, Kirmond-le-Mire, Binbrook - and also in Waltham, and Arksey, near Doncaster.

Show The Love is a national campaign launched by the Climate Coalition in 2015, which the WI is part of.

Anna Etteridge, the Lincolnshire North Federation of WIs’ climate ambassador, and a member of Binbrook & District WI, said: “The campaign is to show the world that great things can be achieved when people work together.”
