Louth woman, 46, pleads guilty to assaulting a police officer

A woman from Louth has been fined after she pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer.

Shelean Claire Lowe, 46, of Abbey Road, committed the assault against the female police officer while she was acting in the exercise of her functions as an emergency worker, in Louth on March 27.

Lowe appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court via live link on April 14, where she pleaded guilty to the offence.

She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 in court costs in addition to a £34 victim surcharge.

The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into account by the court when sentencing.
