Motorist charged with Newmarket collision appears in court

A motorist accused of causing serious injury to a 12-year-old girl in Louth is to face a jury trial later this year.

Paul Pryce Owen (who was committed to the court under the name of Paul Pryce Fraser), aged 33, of Station Road in Legbourne, denied a charge of causing serious injury by dangerous driving when he appeared today (Tuesday) before Lincoln Crown Court.

The charge follows an incident on Newmarket, Louth, when Isobel Ross is alleged to have been caused serious injury on January 6 last year/

Judge John Pini QC adjourned the hearing for a trial to be held in the week commencing May 3 this year, and Owen was granted bail.
