Thursday 3pm - TV's the Hairy Bikers roared into Louth on their motorbikes again today.

Simon King and David Myers were filming in the town for an episode of their new daytime TV show The Hairy Bikers' Food Tour of Britain.

The series, which will be broadcast on BBC2 in the autumn, sees them travelling from county to county sampling local produce.

While in Louth they were filmed meeting staff at the Cheese Shop in Eastgate and Pocklington's Bakers in the Market Place.

Chris Pocklington said: "Pocklingtons Bakers were proud to be chosen by the BBC to assist them in the making of an episode of The Hairy Bikers.

"The programme focused on Pocklingtons award winning Lincolnshire Plumbread, how its made, its history and why its popular.

"Simon King and David Myers were filmed in the shop purchasing Plumbread and some other cakes for the show and quizzing the staff about the history of Lincolnshire Plumbread."

As the Hairy Bikers roared around Louth on their motorbikes fans waved at them and drivers beeped their horns.

Their previous BBC2 shows have included The Hairy Bikers' Cookbook and The Hairy Bikers Ride Again.
