‘Party in the Pews’ kicked off Louth’s Zero Degrees Festival last Friday (June 17), and you can now view all the photographs from the event by clicking on the video above.
Over 600 people attended the event at St James’ Church and, once again, the occasion delivered a fun-filled community experience, showcasing the creative dancing talents of Studio 2000, Elite Academy of Dance, Do-Dance, Trina’s Troopers Tapdancers, Donna Maher’s Zumba Fit-Step dancers and Mature Movers, and A&M Dancers together with pitch-perfect singing from Zero Degrees Chorus. This was followed by the Louth Ukulele Band.
A drumming spectacular from Lacey Gardens and Kidgate Primary schools brought down the house, after just one day of rehearsal with Wavelength Arts.
Nicki Jarvis, chair of the festival, said: “We’re blown away by the fantastic reception for this event.
“The festival is only just beginning and we hope we’ll continue to get such great crowds. Thank you to the brilliant local businesses who finance and support our events.”
The festival continues until July 3. For more information about the upcoming events at the festival, go to www.zerodegreeslouth.org or visit www.facebook.com/ZeroDegreesLouth.
