The prospective parliamentary candidates for the Louth and Horncastle constituency have been invited to a hustings in Horncastle next Wednesday (January 21).
The event has been organised by the local branch of the Federation of Small Businesses.
They are hoping all the candidates named so far will attend and join a discussion about policy issues relating to small businesses.
An open invitation has also gone out to business owners and managers.
The event is being held at the Admiral Rodney Hotel from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
A spokesman for the Federation said: “The East Lindsey Branch are starting the year with an important meeting which will be the first local lead in to the General Election in May.
“The event will provide the chance to meet and discuss issues with the Prospective Parliamentary Candidates for Louth and Horncastle.
“We are also showcasing the FSB Business Manifesto for the 2015-2020 Government and be questioning the candidates about important business issues raised in it.”
So far, the candidates named are Victoria Atkins (Conservatives), Colin Mair (UKIP), Matt Brown (Labour) and Romy Rayner (Green Party).
Tbe Lib-Dems are still to name a candidate while other parties have indicated they will contest the seat.
Long-serving MP Sir Peter Tapsell is, of course, stepping down in May.
