Daniel Simpson has been named as the Lincolnshire Independent Parliamentary Candidate for the Louth & Horncastle Constituency.
Daniel said: “A big issue with voters is that MPs are remote from the people they represent: parachuted in from London, career politicians not living in the real world.
“Not me, I have lived and worked in the Louth area for 40 years. I have been an Independent district coun and parish coun for over 12 years, and a school governor for four years.
“I run a small business and know the challenges associated with this - not least costs and the trading climate.”
He added: “Lincolnshire Independents will represent Lincolnshire people in Parliament as we already do at local councils, campaigning and working for residents, businesses and communities. We campaign for essential services which are vital to the County’s health, safety, prosperity and wellbeing.”
Just some of the issues Daniel would campaign for include; Change NHS budget allocation, challenge student tuition fees, protect coastal communities and maintain sea defences.”
