THERE was a good attendance at the Christmas prize bingo in East Barkwith Village Hall, when special festive prizes were on offer for the bingo games and in the raffle.

Mince pies were served with tea and coffee during the interval and all enjoyed the happy social evening, when £100 was raised for village hall maintenance.

Organiser Yvonne Bryson thanked everyone who had helped and given support during the past year, in particular Shirley Booth, who acts as caller of the lucky numbers, and Grace Clark, who helps to serve refreshments and works on the door.

The next bingo due to be held is on Tuesday, January 10 – eyes down at 7.30pm.
