Police are investigating the theft of a quad bike from a farm near Alford.

Between 5pm on Wednesday and 10am on Friday (November 26-28), the offenders entered the farm yard near the village of Well and smashed a hole in the side of a shed.

The thieves then used bolt cutters to break the chain securing a Kubota RTV900 camouflage coloured quad bike.

It is believed that the quad was then loaded onto a vehicle, and police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the distinctive quad being transported.
