Ticket sales for the Big Country charity concert at Louth Town Hall on April 26 have been ‘fantastic.’

Organiser Andrew Skinner said: “Louth Town Hall and myself would just like to thank everyone for the tremendous support the people of Louth have given this event.

“Although tickets are now becoming limited, you can still purchase them from Louth Town Hall and Off The Beaten Tracks. As well as the live music, there is to be a raffle. Big Country, Abi Moore, The Warbirds and Two-Step are all donating items, and we’re now putting out a request to local businesses and the general public for more prizes.”

If you wish to donate a raffle prize please contact Louth Town Hall at the following email louthtownhall@btinternet.com. There are also opportunities to sponsor this event, please email for details.

Profits from this event are being donated to Alzheimer’s Society. Paula Colburn, Services Manager for Alzheimer’s Society in Lincolnshire, said: “It’s really exciting to see Big Country coming to Lincolnshire to help support Alzheimer’s Society’s work. As a charity, we depend on voluntary donations to continue providing life-changing support for people with dementia. Money raised by Lincolnshire Co-operative staff, members and customers will fund dementia support for hundreds of families in our communities, ensuring they get the support and advice they need. I’d like to say a big thankyou to Lincolnshire Co-operative for making the event happen. It’s going to be a great night for a great cause!”
