Rededication of Little Cawthorpe War Memorial

As the 100th annmiversary of the outbreak of World War I approaches, Little Cawthorpe Parish Council decided to restore the village War Memorial in St Helen’s churchyard as a tribute to the men from the village who gave their lives in both world wars.

The names on the memorial had become unreadable over the years.

Little Cawthorpe Parish Council, together with Legbourne PCC and Little Cawthorpe Jubilee Committee, worked with Leakes of Louth to restore the memorial.

A rededication service will take place at St Helen’s Church on Sunday November 10 at 2pm, conducted by The Rev Lorraine Turner.
